BURTON has everything you need

We have functional base layers which dry quickly. We also have warm fleece and down, and of course shell jackets to avoid rain and wind. You must already know but layering is standard for snowboarders. You can easily adjust to the environment. You can keep yourself comfortable if you choose your clothes carefully. Choose thin fleece or down when the weather is nice and hot, or change the base layer when you sweat. BURTON has variety kinds of items from base layers to shell jackets. Especially one of the shell jackets called “ak” is highly recommended. The shell jacket, “ak”, is surprisingly functional. The design is absolutely cool. It uses GORE-TEX and waterproof breahtable material. Vantilation works perfectly when heat builds up inside your clothes. Powder skirt avoid you from snow getting into your clothes. Zippers are easy to open and close even with your gloves on.

It has a pocket for your smartphone which of course surprise you. In snowy mountains in Hokkaido, the temperature is mostly below zero. If you put your smartphone in the outside pocket, the battery will run out rapidly or your phone won’t sometimes work properly. But BURTON’s jacket have a pocket for your smartphone. Put your phone in the inside pocket, and your phone never get cold and you can use it comfortably. We can produce such items because our staffs tests the items again and again on the slope. This is the solution – anon’s magnet system

Wearing a helmet becomes standard now not only for racers or people going backcountry. In the US, almost all the people enjoying winter sports wear helmets. Helmets protect your head bunt at the same time you must find some difficulties. You may be annoyed to put on and off goggles, and it cuases the lens easily fog up. We can solve the problem. BURTON’s “anon” has a great system called “magnet system”.

This is the goggles, BURTON’s “anon”. Generally lens and flame are combined together, but with “anon’s” goggles, you can easily remove the lens from the flame. We use the magnet system called Magna-Tech® for this item. You can wipe the lens any time because you can remove the lens easily. When the lens fog up or when you fall down and snow get into your goggles, you don’t have to take off your goggles. Some advanced sbowboarders have spare lens in their pocket. They just take off the fogged lens and change to the new one.

Additionally, face mask is indispensable in cold region like Hokkaido. If you use the face mask released from “anon”, you can also take on and off with magnet. Magnet is put into the bottom part of the goggles and the top part of face mask. You can take on and off with one hand. You want to take off the mask when you eat lunch or even when you are on the lift. Previously, it was troublesome so you may have given up. But now you are with “anon”, and you never find any trouble. You may feel a bit of stress anyways, but “anon” will make your time in snowy mountain much richer.

Comfortable experience with Step On™

What is the differencebetween skiing and snowboarding? You need to set back your board when you on the lift. You also need to set on your board when you off the lift. Maybe some of you feel annoyed about it. But with BURTON’s Step On™, you do not have to feel like that. The innovative system makes you confortable to use the gear and enjoy snowboarding.

You can get ready for snorbording easily just like putitng on skis. You don’t have to fasten the buckle, but just put your feet into the parts placed at the tip of the toe and the heel. Put your toe first, and then put your weight on the board. That’s it.

When you take off your board, just pull the lever placed at the side of the binding and pull out your feet. It takes just a second and done.

The boots are only for Step On™. When you put on, fasten the velcro tape, and then fasten inner boots and finally the outside of the boots. You must feel a good fit.
